Westport Estate are hiring for an Accommodation Attendant

Job Summary

As an Accommodation Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. You will be responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of rooms and tents on the Estate's Campsite and Glamping area, and back-of-house spaces in line with the highest hygiene and presentation standards.

Principle Responsibilities

Clean and service bedrooms and bathrooms to the required standards on the campsite.
Change bed linens and replenish towels and guest amenities.
Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
Report any maintenance issues or lost property to the Caravan, Camping & Glamping Supervisor.
Ensure trolleys, equipment, and supplies are maintained in a tidy and safe condition.
Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct use of cleaning chemicals.
Support the team in maintaining cleanliness in all areas and staff facilities as required.
Provide a warm and courteous service to guests when encountered in public areas.
Uphold the Estate's standards of appearance, hygiene, and service delivery at all times.

Required Experience & Skills

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Discretion, reliability, and a friendly, professional attitude.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
