Job Title: Gardener - Part-Time, Community Employment

Are you interested in gaining hands-on gardening experience, working part-time, and developing new skills? Join us as a Gardener in a meaningful community-based role, where you’ll work on engaging horticulture projects and learn on the job!

Position Details

Job Type: Part-time, 19.5 hours per week
Location: On-site, community setting

Role Overview

In this role, you’ll contribute to various gardening and horticultural tasks that support community-based projects, including:

Garden Maintenance: Perform tasks such as planting, watering, and caring for plants.
Grounds Upkeep: Help maintain sensory gardens, kitchen gardens, and poly-tunnels.
Supportive Work: Assist in preparing garden areas and providing tools for our horticulture activities.
Creative Projects: Participate in garden layout and design and support property maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

No prior gardening experience required—just a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Eligibility for community-based employment, generally available to individuals currently receiving certain Irish social welfare supports.
