You will support our team as a:
- Join our Finance team during an exciting period of continued business growth, playing a key role in supporting our expanding manufacturing operations while taking ownership of inventory accounting, valuation, and obsolescence management
- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business Unit leaders to provide financial insight that supports operational and commercial decision-making
- Analyse manufacturing performance by monitoring standard costs, actual production costs, and cost variances, identifying opportunities to improve profitability
- Maintain accurate product costing through the ongoing management of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings
- Deliver meaningful gross margin analysis, providing recommendations to improve product and business performance
- Support the financial evaluation of new products, customer quotations, and business opportunities through robust costing analysis
- Play a key role in month-end close activities, ensuring accurate General Ledger reporting and financial controls
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning activities
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Drive continuous improvement across the Finance function by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, enhance reporting, and improve operational efficiency
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and provide commercial support for strategic business projects across the organisation
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement in line with company standards
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of three years' post-qualified experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing finance, and standard costing
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to influence business performance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful commercial insights
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience analysing large volumes of financial and operational data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across cross-functional teams
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience working with integrated ERP systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (QMSR) requirements is advantageous
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within Finance or manufacturing is desirable
