Michael Lyng Motors are one of the South East leading dealerships. We are the main Hyundai Dealers for Carlow and Kilkenny and the main Ford Dealer for Kilkenny. As such we have a significant Aftersales and Parts business for both franchises.

Service Advisor – Carlow

We are now looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Carlow.

The Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be a key link between our customers and workshop team, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their service journey
Manage bookings, and efficiently schedule service and repairs
Clearly communicate customer requirements to technicians
Provide advice on vehicle care and respond to customer queries
Prepare invoices and process payments accurately
Support Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) reporting
Work closely with the service and workshop teams to maintain high standards

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor industry is an advantage but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional, organised, and detail-oriented approach
Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Office
A team player with a positive attitude
Full, clean driving licence
