ABOUT US
Castle Dargan Estate is a premier golf, hotel, and spa resort set on a stunning 165-acre estate. We are seeking an experienced, passionate Bar Tender to join our Food & Beverage team.
THE ROLE
Deliver warm, efficient, high-quality bar service across our hotel bar, restaurant, and events — from post-golf drinks to spa evenings and special occasions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including classic and craft cocktails, to a high standard
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and confident menu recommendations
- Operate the POS system accurately, handling cash and card payments
- Keep the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked; assist with stock takes and ordering
- Follow responsible alcohol service, health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Support the wider F&B team during busy periods and events
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a professional Bar Tender, ideally in a hotel, resort, or high-volume bar
- Strong cocktail-making skills and product knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; works well under pressure
- Must be willing to work weekends and flexible shifts, including evenings and public holidays
- Fluent English; POS system experience an advantage
