Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to support the day-to-day financial administration of our growing business. This is a flexible part-time position, ideal for someone looking for a few hours of work each week.

Key Responsibilities

Process company expense invoices and arrange timely payments.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Process weekly employee payroll.
Monitor company bank accounts and reconcile transactions.
Record and mark customer and company expense invoices as paid.
Prepare and issue customer invoices.
Process SEAI grant payments and energy credits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where required.
Liaise with suppliers, customers and external accountants when necessary.
Assist with general accounts administration and reporting.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration.
Good understanding of VAT and general bookkeeping practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong IT skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Professional, trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.
