We are a private multi-disciplinary specialist clinic located in Blackpool, Cork. As a result of continued growth and new specialists joining the Clinic we require additional dental nurses to join our growing team.
Our dental nurses will perform both the clinical and non-clinical aspects of providing dental services to patients. We are happy to consider a qualified Dental Nurse, recent graduate or an experienced trainee.
Clinical duties include providing chairside support to the Dental team, application of cross infection controls, application of decontamination controls, set up of surgery for patients, management of patient lab work, etc.
Non-clinical duties include meet and greet patients, working to support reception when needed including welcoming patients, scheduling appointments and answering patient queries.
We need you to be; friendly, caring and professional, passionate about providing excellent patient care, organised, reliable and able to work independently, a great communicator who enjoys working as part of a supportive team, comfortable using computerised dental software and digital systems.
What are we looking for?
- Candidates with a strong understanding of confidentiality and discretion
- Experience in a clinical environment
- Dental nurse qualification preferred
- Proven ability to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced environment
- Time management, punctuality and flexibility
- Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills
- At least 1 year previous experience as a dental nurse
- Experience with Dental software preferred, but training can and will be provided
