Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team.
This is a hands-on role offering the right candidate the opportunity to take real responsibility within a busy warehouse environment, with excellent potential for development and future progression as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and shipping customer orders accurately and on time
- Receiving stock and putting goods away safely and efficiently
- Carrying out physical inventory and equipment checks
- Picking and supplying materials for urgent production requirements
- Liaising with Customer Service regarding order discrepancies, tracking and delivery issues
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse
- Cleaning equipment, tools and work areas in accordance with company procedures
- Supporting the wider team and following operational instructions as required
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will be:
- Reliable, self-motivated and organised
- Accurate, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritising workload
- A good communicator with excellent spoken and written English
- Computer literate and confident navigating computer systems
- Customer-focused and aware of the importance of accurate and timely order fulfilment
- Willing to work as part of a team and adapt as the company grows
Previous experience in warehouse operations, materials management, logistics or supply chain would be a strong advantage.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP or other ERP systems would also be beneficial.
A Reach Truck or Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be an advantage.
Hours
Standard working week: 40 hours
Overtime is paid for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
