Warehouse Operative / General Operative – Forklift

PVC Fabrications Ltd. | Briar Hill, Waterfall, Cork
€16.00 - €16.50 per hour | Permanent, Full-Time | Monday–Friday

PVC Fabrications Ltd. is expanding, and we're looking for two reliable and motivated Warehouse / General Operatives to join our team in Briar Hill, Waterfall, Cork.

This is a permanent Monday–Friday position with no weekend work, an early finish every Friday, a twice-yearly performance bonus and opportunities for additional training.

Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied, hands-on warehouse role where you'll play an important part in making sure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
Loading and unloading goods from trucks.
Operating a counterbalance forklift safely.
Using pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment.
Completing dispatch paperwork using computer software.
Assisting with stock control and inventory.
Keeping the warehouse organised, clean and safe.
Working with the team to ensure orders and deliveries are completed efficiently.
Following all company health and safety procedures.

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in.

Essential

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Full B Driving Licence.
Good attitude towards health and safety.
Reliable and punctual.
Comfortable working as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.

Desirable – but not essential

Manual Handling Certificate.
Power Pallet Truck Licence.
Previous warehouse or dispatch experience.
Experience using Sage50.

Don't have all of the desirable certificates or previous warehouse experience? That's okay. We're interested in finding the right people with a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am–4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: OFF
