JOB TITLE: Senior Spa Therapist
REPORT TO: Spa Manager
SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide professional and engaging wellness therapies and massage therapies to clients. To provide a variety of treatments to clients and ensuring the highest standards of guest care and customer satisfaction are always maintained.
QUALITY STANDARDS

To carry out all tasks in accordance with procedures as outlined in the Department Standards Manual.

To answer the telephone and to handle bookings/enquires.
- Deliver a variety of spa services in a safe and comfortable manner.

Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products.
- Keep documentation and update client files.

Keep a clean and stocked room.
- Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.

Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends.
- Carry out checks to ensure that treatment rooms and wider spa areas are clean, well-stocked with equipment and products, safe and hygienic.

Ensure spa equipment is working and to coordinate safety and maintenance checks and repairs with the maintenance team where necessary.

Monitor and control stock levels and make spa manager aware when stock levels need replenishing.

Provide direct support to the spa manager when required. This may include assisting with stock ordering and stock control or training of staff.
COMMUNICATION

To bring customer comments and issues to the attention of your Head of Department.

To maintain effective communications with all Departments with specific attention to Front Office.

To ensure that all are greeted with a friendly welcome and offered the highest standards of guest care and customer satisfaction.

To identify maintenance issues and report accordingly.

Providing a direct communication line with the spa manager to ensure they are informed of any customer care issues or breaches in company procedures.

Act as a role model for other junior level therapists; helping at times to mentor and train new starters.
HEALTH AND SAFETY

To have full knowledge of and be able to act upon the HotelGolf Links Fire and Health and Safety Procedures.

Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.
- To complete all duties and tasks with due care for the Health and Safety of yourself and other employees and guests.

To ensure the highest standards of personal presentation whilst wearing the company supplied uniform, in accordance with Department Standards Manual.

To report, and where necessary, act on incidents, accidents, fire, loss or damage.
OCCASIONAL DUTIES
To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by a member of the management team.
Attend meetings.
Attend Portmarnock HotelGolf Links Training.
