Nine Daughters is a new food spot coming to Ballybunion this summer, and we are building our Kitchen team.
We are not open yet, which means this is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the beginning. Successful candidates will help shape our food offering, kitchen culture, and daily service from day one.
We are hiring for both part time and full time kitchen roles. We are looking for people who are reliable, organised, and enjoy working in a positive, team focused environment.
The Role
These positions will support daily food preparation and service. You will work closely with the front of house team to deliver consistent, high quality food in a calm and organised kitchen environment. As a new opening, there will also be opportunities to contribute ideas and help shape systems as we grow.
We aim to be open 6 to 7 days a week, with daytime service during the week and potential evening shifts Friday to Sunday as we introduce weekend evening menus.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking food according to established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
- Developing and testing new recipes and menu items in consultation with management
- Ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Supporting smooth and efficient kitchen service
- Working collaboratively with front of house team
- Assisting with prep, service, and kitchen organisation
- Supporting opening and closing duties
- Helping maintain a calm and positive working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a café, restaurant, or food service environment is essential
- Comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, organised, and team focused
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Fluent English essential
- Interest in being part of a new and growing business
