Join our leading Waste Management Company as an experienced HGV Artic Truck Driver.
You’ll play a vital role in transporting waste and recycling materials between transfer stations, treatment facilities, and landfill sites, ensuring safe and compliant operations across the region.
Location:
Based at the Bellanaboy Gas Terminal (BBGT) in Glenamoy, Ballina, Co. Mayo with occasional requirements for other works in the Mayo, Galway & Clare areas and from our main depot in Oranmore, Co. Galway.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:

Operate articulated vehicles to primarily transport bulk liquid waste

Operate articulated vehicles to transport bulk waste and recyclables
-
Ensure compliance with waste handling and transport regulations
-
Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
-
Maintain accurate transport logs and paperwork
-
Liaise with site teams and dispatch for efficient routing

Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards of WW & our Clients.

Work with the site team at BBGT to carry out general site duties & operation of other vehicles on days when there are no work requirements for the articulated vehicles.
Requirements:

Valid CE (Class 1) driving licence with CPC and Digi Card
-
ADR license is an advantage but not essential
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience driving articulated vehicles

Experience in the waste or haulage industry preferred

Good understanding of transport regulations and safe loading practices

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
-
Flexibility for early starts, occasional weekends, or shift work
