Full job description

Brendan Harrison Building Contractor Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and reliable Office Administrator to join our team in Kilkelly.

This is a full-time office-based position where you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy construction business.

Key Responsibilities

Managing incoming phone calls and emails.
Logging customer requests and service enquiries.
Maintaining and updating company systems and databases.
General office administration and document management.
Preparing reports, letters and other business documentation.
Assisting with scheduling works and coordinating appointments.
Liaising professionally with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
Supporting management with a range of administrative tasks.
Assisting with invoicing and other office duties as required.

Essential Requirements

Excellent computer literacy with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in an office administration role is desireable but not mandatory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence and professionalism when speaking with customers and suppliers over the telephone.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise workload and work on your own initiative.
Friendly, professional and positive attitude.
Full clean driving licence is desirable.
