We are looking to hire an experienced Junior Accountant to a busy automotive business in the Athlone area.

Main responsibilities will include:

Responsibility for the general ledger
Review and preparation of monthly reconciliations & journals
Prepare Weekly payroll
Prepare weekly bank payment file for upload.
Process payslips.
Calculate BIK for relevant employees.
Manage cycle to work scheme.
Preparation and submission of VAT etc submissions and Revenue payments.
Overseeing and monitoring the stock control system in the company.
Attending to all accounting queries in respect of the creditors ledger
Attending to all accounting queries in respect of the debtors ledger
Attending to all Bank, Cash and nominal ledger accounts
Assistance in preparation of year end accounts and management of the year-end statutory accounts.
Weekly/Monthly performance analysis – vs PY, Vs Budget and keys to execute including insightful commentary
Assist management team with general office administration and other duties as required

Requirements or Skills:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
