Full job description

Help us bring confidence-building dance education to communities across Ireland.

Dance Concepts is one of Ireland’s leading inclusive dance and movement education providers, currently working with over 450 children across multiple counties and growing every year.

We believe every child deserves access to high-quality dance education, regardless of where they live. Our mission is simple: to create welcoming, non-competitive spaces where children can build confidence, creativity, friendships and a lifelong love of movement.

As we prepare for our next stage of growth, we’re looking for an ambitious Community Growth & Brand Manager to join our team and help us bring Dance Concepts to even more communities across Ireland.

This is not a traditional marketing role.

This is a growth role.

We are looking for someone who can help us fill classes, launch new locations, strengthen our community presence and grow a brand that genuinely changes children’s lives.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving student enrolment, increasing class occupancy, supporting new venue launches and ensuring Dance Concepts continues to grow across Ireland.

You will oversee both digital and community marketing, combining data-driven campaigns with grassroots local engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesGrowth & Enrolment

Increase class occupancy across all Dance Concepts locations
Develop and manage enrolment campaigns
Build and manage referral programmes
Create strategies to generate waiting lists for classes, camps and workshops
Track and report on occupancy, leads and conversion rates

Community Marketing

Plan and coordinate Dance Concepts Community Days and promotional events
Build relationships with schools, local organisations and community groups
Coordinate poster campaigns and local marketing initiatives
Identify opportunities to increase visibility in new and existing communities

Brand & Content

Manage Dance Concepts social media channels
Create content plans and marketing calendars
Design promotional graphics and posters using Canva
Coordinate newsletters and parent communications
Collect and share testimonials, success stories and student highlights

New Location Launches

Support the launch of new Dance Concepts locations
Create local marketing plans for new areas
Coordinate awareness campaigns before classes begin
Work alongside our operations team to maximise enrolment from launch

Advertising

Manage Meta advertising campaigns
Monitor and optimise campaign performance
Report on return on investment and lead generation
Test new marketing strategies and channels

Success In This Role Looks Like

Within 6 months:

Most classes operating at 80%+ occupancy
Waiting lists established in key locations
Community Days successfully launched across multiple venues
New student enrolment consistently increasing
Strong referral systems in place
New locations launching with strong awareness and bookings
Dance Concepts social media and marketing operating smoothly without daily involvement from the founder

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from a marketing, events, community engagement, education, sport or franchise background.

Most importantly, you understand how to grow organisations at a local level.

Essential Skills

Marketing experience with proven results
Experience managing Meta/Facebook advertising campaigns
Strong copywriting and communication skills
Canva design experience
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail

Desirable

Experience in community or grassroots marketing
Experience working with children’s activities, education, sport or arts organisations
Understanding of rural and regional communities in Ireland
Event planning experience

Position Details

Part-time freelance contractor role
Approximately 10–15 hours per week initially
Hybrid role
Flexible working hours
Some attendance at events throughout the year required
Competitive hourly rate (€20–€30 per hour depending on experience)
