About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused OTC Assistant to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, support the safe supply of OTC medicines, and assist the dispensary team in delivering outstanding patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment and is passionate about helping customers with their healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional and friendly customer service at all times
Assist customers with OTC medicines and general healthcare queries under pharmacist supervision
Support the dispensary team with the accurate collection and supply of prescriptions
Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing, and housekeeping duties
Operate the POS system accurately, including cash handling and sales transactions
Respond to telephone and customer enquiries promptly and professionally
Support pharmacy services and healthcare initiatives where required
Build positive relationships with customers, patients, and team members
Assist across the retail floor when required

What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service experience
Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A positive attitude and team-focused approach
Previous pharmacy or retail experience is desirable but not essential

Work Pattern

Flexibility is required across weekday, weekend and Bank Holiday trading hours, including morning, mid and evening shifts.
