Title: Part-Time Kitchen Porter & Stock Assistant (Fixed-Term)

Location: Phoenix Park, Dublin

Salary: €14.15 Per Hour

Hours: 25 hours per week

Working Pattern: 08:00am - 01:00pm (5 days over 7)

This is a fixed-term role potentially leading to a permanent role after August 2026.

Category B driving licence is essential.

Job Description

Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
Food Preparation – Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients
Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order
Goods in and out
Stock - Receiving deliveries and checking items for damage or accuracy
Organizing and storing products in the correct locations
Restoring shelves and displays,
Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
Organization skills.

Qualifications

Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
