We are Hiring for:
A full-time on-site role as aCNC Operator Programmer for wooden cabinetry, General Operatives, Cabinet Makers and Fitters located in Waterford. Salary will based on experience.
As a CNC Operator Programmer, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and documents, programming, machining, and general maintenance and upkeep of relevant machinery. Previous Experience is essential.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve using various software to program and operate a Biesse Rover K CNC machine and Hebrock F4 edgebanding machine, adhering to safety procedures and ensuring accurate and efficient production.
Qualifications
· Experience in CNC operation and programming
· Ability to interpret technical drawings
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
· Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry
· Certification or degree in CNC programming or a related field is preferable
Familiarity with Biesse software and / or Cabinet Vision would be preferable, however training can be provided.
For General Operatives, Cabinet Makers and Fitters
Qualifications / Skills
- Experience in the wood manufacturing and / or construction industry.
- Experience in Cabinet Making and Fitting.
- Proficient in Interpreting Design Drawings, Blueprints and Technical Documents.
- Expertise using Hand and Power Tools, Machinery and Finishing Equipment.
- Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Forklift, Abrasive Wheel and First Aid Certifications are a distinct advantage, but training can be given.
- Relevant vocational or trade certifications are also a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining safe work environments.
- Motivation and ability to work on your own initiative.
- Strong Team Player: work and communicate as a team member to ensure all aspects of the business operate efficiently and effectively within company policy.
- Conscientious and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to producing high quality work.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent work ethic and customer care.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift.
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, multi-task and flexible in approach.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends (when required).
- Full clean driving licence.
- Must have Own Transport and Tools.
- You must speak fluent English and have the ability to take direction to ensure duties are carried out to the highest standard in a fast-paced environment.
