Aska Sykes is a leading specialist hire company with 8 depots nationwide. An opportunity has now arisen in our Dublin depot for a General Operative/Van Driver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and collection of hire equipment to customers to include physical loading/unloading and demonstrating equipment to customers.
- Responsible for general warehouse duties
- Checking for damaged or missing items on returned equipment.
- Cleaning and basic testing of hire equipment
- Keeping paperwork up to date.
- Responsible for general warehouse duties.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion with equipment stored in appropriate areas
- Assist engineering and office staff as required.
- This roll will give an opportunity for advancement within the company to the suitable candidate.
Skills & Qualifications;
- Previous warehouse/driving experience desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- Interest in mechanical equipment is desirable
- Clean "B" driving licence
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and work on own initiative.
