Purchasing Administrator(Full Time)

Purpose of Role
Busy role, where attention to detail is key. There is a high level of administration duties, including email correspondence liaising with various suppliers and vendors. Working alongside a team to deliver a professional, credible and timely service which supports the needs of our customers, suppliers and stakeholders. Successful candidate must be an experienced Administrator with relevant experience within the last 12 months with good IT skills and eager to learn. Strong communication and organisational skill are also crucial. Experience in a Purchasing or Procurement role would be beneficial, in addition dealing with exchange rates and different currencies.
Role Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for;
· Liaising closely with internal and external stakeholder via email and telephone in relation to delivery of the goods.
· Update our databases with accurate information.
· Raise purchase orders and place them with suppliers and vendors.
· Review order acknowledgments and order confirmations.
· Arrange shipments with couriers and freight forwarders.
· Run reports.
· Receive goods into our business system and reporting discrepancies.
· Monitor delivery dates and stock levels, and any other ad hoc administration tasks.
· Maintaining appropriate record systems, complying with document retention and data protection requirements
· Maintaining effective communication with the customer services function, keeping the customer always informed.

Role Requirements
Experience and Knowledge:
· Previous experience of working in Purchasing or Procurement role is preferable.
· Good knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel is critical.

· Educated to Leaving Certificate level
· Effective verbal and written communication
· Have a good standard of IT skills and handling data
· Ability to show resilience and overcome challenges
· Confident and Positive Attitude
· Be methodical and organised in their approach to work
