Production Supervisor Assistant

Shift: Monday to Friday, starting at 4:00 AM

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Supervisor Assistant to support the daily operation of our production facility.
Role Overview
The Production Supervisor Assistant will work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will assist with machine setup, production planning, quality checks, and general supervision of production activities throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily startup and setup of production lines and bakery equipment.
- Support production planning and organisation to ensure efficient workflow throughout the shift.
- Conduct hourly production and quality checks, ensuring products meet company specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and report any issues to the Production Supervisor or Maintenance team.
- Ensure production records, quality documentation, and check sheets are completed accurately.
- Carry out routine operational and hygiene inspections across the production area.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving during production.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and quality standards.
- Assist with staff coordination and communication on the production floor.
- Help minimise waste and maximise production efficiency.
- Promote a positive, quality-focused working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, food production, or bakery environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic understanding of production machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and reliability, with availability to start work at 4:00 AM.
Desirable
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety
