Full job description

Salary – D.O.E.

Job Type – Full-time, Permanent

Work location – In person (Hybrid Option available following Probation)

Main Responsibilities

Accounts preparation and finalisation for Audit exempt Limited Companies

Preparation and filing of Corporation Tax Returns for Limited Companies, advising on Preliminary Tax requirements

Formatting of Statutory Financial Statements for Audit Exempt Limited Companies (FRS 102 & FRS 105)

Completion of Audit Exempt Work Programmes

Accounts & Income Tax preparation for Sole-traders

Preparation of Personal Tax Computations and Returns

Preparation and submission of VAT Returns

Skills & Experience

Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA)

Minimum 3+ Years’ Experience in a Practice Environment

Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and their application

Ability to multi-task and adhere to/manage deadlines effectively

Self-motivated with good initiative

Working Knowledge of Sage Accounts Production, Excel & ROS

Experience in CRO Filings and CORE desirable

Experience in Preparation of Reporting Accountants Reports for the Law Society advantageous

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
