About The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, your main duties will include:

Carrying out daily cleaning tasks to keep the kitchen safe and organised
-
Washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, taking care to avoid breakages
-
Making sure food preparation areas are clean, tidy and ready for use
-
Supporting the team by ensuring HACCP and cleaning standards are followed at all times
-
Completing daily HACCP and cleaning records (with clear guidance provided)
-
Keeping work surfaces, sinks, wash-hand basins, floors and walls clean and sanitised

Keeping the storeroom organised and tidy
-
Removing and disposing of waste and recycling correctly and regularly
-
Ensuring bins and disposal areas do not overflow

Keeping the yards at the Lodge and the Castle clean and tidy
-
Cleaning staff rooms twice daily and keeping them organised

Making sure staff room condiments are stocked
-
Helping with other general kitchen support tasks as required
