Full job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper & Administrative Support professional to manage day-to-day financial transactions while assisting with general office administration. This role will involve maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing payroll, Vat returns, product pricing, and providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Finance

Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial transactions in accounting software.
Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Maintain general ledger and support month-end/year-end close processes.
Prepare VAT returns.
Manage Cash Flow
Lease with accountant at the year end

Payroll Administration

Process payroll accurately and on time, including timesheet collection and verification.
Manage employee leave, benefits, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax and employment regulations.
Issue employment contract and manage employees contract.
Manage employee HACCP training.

Product Costing & Reporting

Responsible for calculating and maintaining products pricing.
Provide costing reports to support pricing and profitability analysis.

Administrative Support

Maintain organized filing systems (digital and paper).
Assist with insurance, license application, correspondence, and general office coordination.
Handle ad hoc administrative tasks and some marketing.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.
Proficiency with accounting software Sage online accounting or similar software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Knowledge of payroll systems and related compliance requirements.
Understanding of product pricing principles (preferred but can be trained).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and time management abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Full driving licenses as the work require going from one location to another.

Education & Experience

Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Accounting, ATI, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum [2] years in a bookkeeping. (Must have)

Working Conditions

1 Day office-based, and remaining hours can be done remotely
Working hours are flexible, office day preferably Wednesday from 9 AM–5 PM (Must be available)
Total of 12 hours per week, plus extra at month end and VAT return period

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €18.00 per hour
