Join Vertiv as a Junior Electrical Design Engineer in our Skidded Switchgear Solutions team and play a key role in shaping the future of cutting-edge modular solutions for data centres, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure at scale. At Vertiv, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineering experts, leveraging and supporting emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and advanced data analytics to support next-level solutions. What you'll do? As a team player, your responsibilities include:

Integrated Skidded Structures: Be part of the team for electrical design/integration of skidded solutions from bid stage to completion. Preparation of design & workshop documentation and ordering BoMs for installation material and non-critical equipment.
Ensuring Compliance and Best Practices: Apply international, national, and internal standards, ensuring that all designs are safe, compliant, and cost-effective. Integrate good engineering practices into every stage of the design process.
Collaborating Across Teams: Actively participate in project kick-off and coordination meetings, and engage with cross-functional teams, including architectural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and site engineers, to ensure a cohesive project execution.
Supporting Execution and Site Activities: Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly. Collaborate with site managers, manufacturing, quality control, and commissioning engineers to resolve structural issues and ensure safe and efficient implementation.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering, building services or similar degree.
Experience: Graduate position ideally from a building services background.
Language: Fluent in English
Software Skills: Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, EPLAN/Amtech, and MS Office
Key Competencies: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, organisation, flexibility, and strong team collaboration
