Full job description

McLoughlin Transport regional transportation, distribution and warehousing company based in Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim.

Offering a variety of transport services such as next day pallet deliveries through our nationwide network to full loads. Our clients include some of the worlds best known international logistics companies as well as grocery and cosmetic brands.

Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced day time Artic Driver for multi drop deliveries and collections in the North West of Ireland and Dublin.

Hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, No weekends

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate Artic vehicle for multi drop delivery.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while adhering to delivery schedules.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during interactions with customers.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Handle and document any discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

Must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
Valid driver's licence (Category CE).
Valid tachograph card.
Valid CPC card.
Be available for a day time shift.
Excellent driving record with no driving violations.
Good communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude.
