Full job description

To ensure that guests are warmly and efficiently looked after during their stay. To ensure that effective controls are implemented and adhered to with regard to billing and accounts. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 2 years experience as a Hotel receptionist.

Responsibilities Include:

To greet the guests on arrival in a warm, welcoming, and friendly manner.
Check in/out guests effectively ensuring that all details are correct.
Take reservations via phone and email, as effectively as possible and take messages to respond to guests in a quick manner when busy, at all times in a warm friendly manner.
Excellent upselling of hotel products and services, maximising all sales opportunities with phone and online bookings.
Always be well groomed in appearance as per our company grooming standards set out in the company policies.

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years experience of Hot soft hotel management system or similar hotel software is a requirement.
The ability to work unsupervised and on your own initiative.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner
Excellent administrative skills and the ability to use email and Site Minder booking system is an advantage but not a requirement.
Good team working skills.
