We are offering a role with a diverse reach across the business. This will entail reporting to all areas of the company from the project initiation to the customer sign off. Day to day you will be involved with scoping testing effort, test design, test execution with ongoing support for innovative ways to improve testing within Emydex.
The Candidate:
You will have a clear and approachable communication style being comfortable with testing in waterfall and agile software delivery methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have all of the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience
- ISTQB or equivalent experience
- Understanding of C# and .Net
- SQL
- Test design and execution skills
- Experienced with Test management, Test execution tools. E.g. Azure DevOps
- Experience with system and UAT testing
Desirable skills include
- Non-functional testing
- Test Automation
- UI / UX testing
- Testing in a client / server architecture
- Git
- Cloud experience, Azure
- Scripting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & Execute Test Plans
- Execution and reporting of manual test plans
- Collaborate with the Development team & Project Managers to understand and prioritise system testing efforts
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Reporting to Project Managers on test status
- Working closely with developers to identify and mitigate risk
- Identification and enforcement of quality gates
- Continuous improvement of Emydex’s testing approach

Conditions:
- Emydex Technology’s Headquarters is based in Blanchardstown in West Dublin, but employees have the option to work the hybrid WFH model
- Salary – negotiable depending on experience
- Bonus – based on achievement of objectives
