Office Administrator/Coordinator
Location: Cork City Centre (On-site)

Some roles are simply jobs. Others become the place where your career quietly takes shape, supported by people who genuinely value what you bring. This is one of those roles.
We are working with a well-established, highly regarded legal practice and their Cork office is now seeking an Office Administrator to become an integral part of the team. The candidate will be someone who takes pride in creating a calm, organised, and welcoming environment from the moment the phone rings or a client walks through the door.
The Role
You will be the first point of contact for clients and colleagues alike, managing a busy but steady flow of calls and enquiries with professionalism and ease. Some days will be fast-paced, others more measured, but in every case, your role will be central to keeping the office running smoothly.
Alongside reception duties, you’ll naturally step into the rhythm of the office, supporting with administrative tasks and taking initiative where needed. This is a position for someone who notices what needs doing and gets it done without waiting to be asked.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Admin support to Solicitors and Consultants
- Dictaphone typing
- Welcoming visitors and maintaining a professional front-of-house presence
- Assisting with general administrative tasks across the office - appointments/diaries, calendars, scanning documentation, preparing briefs (copying/binding)
- Supporting the wider team in day-to-day operations - diary management, arranging consultations and organising meetings with Counsel.
What Makes This Role Different
The firm is led by a highly respected and approachable Principal who is known for creating a positive, supportive working environment. People here are treated with trust and respect and that shows in the longevity of the team.
This is not a static role. For the right person, there is real opportunity to grow.
What We’re Looking For
- A naturally organised and reliable individual with 1 - 2 years office experience, preferably in a legal and/or professional services environment although not essential
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- Proficient in MS Office Packages
- Someone comfortable managing a busy phone line with confidence
- A proactive mindset — you take ownership rather than waiting for direction
If this sounds like the kind of role where you could see yourself thriving, we would be very interested in hearing from you. Perm, full time. Salary €31 - €35k. 9 - 5.30pm, 22 days annual leave per annum.
Apply via the link ensuring contact details are on your CV. Interviews to be held immediately.
