Full job description

We are recruiting for a seasonal Accommodation Assistant to join our team for the summer period. This is a fixed-term contract from June to September 2026. This role is essential to ensuring our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the hotel.

About the Hotel:

Formerly a country mansion, the 4* Ardilaun Hotel boasts 123 luxury bedrooms with a superb conference center, wedding venue and leisure club facilities. It is independently owned and operated by the Ryan family, having celebrated 64 years in business recently. Nestled in Galway's suburbs, in a secluded setting in leafy Taylor's Hill just 1km from Galway City, Galway Bay, and Salthill, our hotel provides a serene and secluded setting. The facilities include the family friendly Camilaun Restaurant, Garden Terrace with canopy for outdoor dining, Blazers Bar and The Ardilaun Bistro. Guests can also relax in the spacious Garden Lounges for Afternoon Teas. At The Ardilaun Hotel our mission is to create exceptional experiences and exceed the expectations of every guest we serve.

The main duties include:

Being responsible for servicing guests' bedrooms to a very high standard.
Maintaining a high level of hygiene in bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
Collecting, distributing, and replenishing clean linen and towels throughout the hotel.
Removing used linen and ensuring it is returned to the laundry area.
Working within the team to deliver high attention to detail across all areas.
Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and security standards.
Delivering excellent customer service in every guest interaction.
Ability to follow a schedule and work independently when required.
