We are looking for a hands-on MRO Technician to support UAV maintenance, flight operations, testing, and field deployments across Ireland and internationally in a fast-paced and exciting aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities
UAV Maintenance & Flight Preparation
- Ensure UAVs are prepared and ready for flight operations
- Carry out pre-flight and post-flight inspections and complete checklists
- Perform return-to-workshop inspections and report any faults or damage
- Assist with flight operations and field support activities
- Support testing of new equipment and systems
- Travel within Ireland and overseas to support flight operations, testing, maintenance, and field deployments where required
Maintenance & Documentation
- Carry out maintenance and basic repairs on UAV systems and components
- Follow company maintenance procedures and quality standards
- Complete maintenance records and technical documentation accurately
- Assist with updating maintenance procedures and work instructions where required
- Support troubleshooting and fault-finding activities
Assembly & Integration
- Perform mechanical assembly of UAV components including fuselage sections, wings, fuel tanks, antennas, and payloads
- Assist with integration of aircraft parts and payload systems
- Prepare aircraft, tools, and equipment for flight missions and demonstrations
- Support engineers and senior technicians during testing and integration activities
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and ISO9001 quality standards
- Identify and report maintenance issues or potential improvements
- Assist with reliability tracking and reporting of recurring faults
Training & Support
- Support customer demonstrations, training, and operational deployments both nationally and internationally where required
- Maintain training and maintenance records
- Assist with customer technical support and troubleshooting queries
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and flight teams to support ongoing projects
Education & Experience
- Level 6 qualification in Engineering, Aircraft Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline
- Previous hands-on technical experience, internship, apprenticeship or practical workshop experience is an advantage
- Interest in aviation, UAVs, mechanical systems,electrical systems, or maintenance operations
- Experience using Microsoft Office and technical documentation systems is beneficial

This role requires frequent international travel, sometimes at short notice. Candidates must be currently based in Ireland and able to travel internationally without operational delay.
Pay: €30,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
