Full job description

This role is to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract for 7 months, Starting November 2026, ending May 2027

Responsibilities include:

Accurate and timely matching and posting of banking receipts to the Intact accounting system
Posting of payments (receipts) into the Intact accounting system
Enquire and follow-up any discrepancies on banking receipts against the customer ledgers
Monthly bank reconciliation
Strict adherence to the accounting period close deadlines Filing VAT & RCT Returns
Completing monthly Debtors & Creditors reconciliation and matching back to Trial Balance
Posting Sales Invoices and Sending Debtors Statements
Looking after Motor Vehicle CVRT, Tax and Insurance
Handle queries from internal staff.
Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

The successful applicant will have to have a minimum of two years in accounts, excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to deal with high volumes and good use of Microsoft packages, namely Word and Excel.

Pay: €14.15-€15.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Navan, County Meath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
