Who we are looking for:
Beyond the checklist, the key expectations are:

Experience in homecare (1+ year in Ireland) - they want someone already familiar with home settings

QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care - a formal qualification is required

Driving licence + car - essential due to travel between clients

Calm under pressure - because "rapid response" means things change quickly

Strong communication & organisation - juggling visits, notes, and reporting

Compassion + empathy - core of homecare work

Weekend flexibility - rota-based system
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
To be responsible for staff shadowing - ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures
-
To undertake emergency over - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)
-
To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns

Checking and collecting journal notes from clients houses
-
Delivery of Careplans, log sheets and gloves to client's homes when required
-
Delivery of PPE
To undertake any other reasonable duties as required*
