Music Teacher Positions – Alto School of Music (Dublin & Surrounding Areas)
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and engaging music teachers to join our growing team across a number of school locations in Dublin and surrounding areas.
We provide after-school music programmes within primary schools, including group ukulele classes and individual instrumental tuition. Our teachers work in a creative, supportive and student-focused environment, helping children build confidence, musicianship and enjoyment through music.
Current Positions Available:
Arklow
- Group ukulele lessons
- Approx. 2 hours weekly
- Flexible day
Cherrywood (Wednesday)
- Group ukulele plus individual lessons
- Instruments: drums, piano and/or guitar
- Ideally suited to a teacher who can cover a combination of ukulele, guitar and drums
- Approx. 1.30 pm – approx. 6.00
Booterstown (Wednesday)
- Group ukulele plus piano and/or violin
- Approx. 1.15 pm – 6.00 pm
- Looking for a teacher able to combine ukulele with either piano or violin
Tullow (Thursday)
- Drums, guitar and ukulele
- Approx. 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Drum skills must be proficient up to Leaving Certificate level
Lucan (Wednesday)
- 1-hour group guitar lesson
- Potential for additional individual guitar students afterwards
Glasnevin (Tuesday or Wednesday)
- 1-hour group ukulele lesson
Requirements:
- Experience teaching children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable and professional
- Garda Vetting required
- Teaching qualification welcomed
- Ability to teach multiple instruments is a strong advantage
About Alto School of Music:
We currently work in partnership with around 20 schools across Dublin and surrounding counties. We prepare students for RIAM, ABRSM and Rockschool exams, organise student concerts throughout the year, and place strong emphasis on making music education enjoyable, engaging and accessible.
