About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Rigid Truck Driver (C Licence) to join our team based in Kildare Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods nationwide. Monday to Friday early morning starts.
This role offers regular hours with the potential for overtime, making it ideal for candidates seeking steady employment with additional earning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out nationwide deliveries of goods in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company procedures and schedules
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling of products
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Adhere to all road safety, transport, and compliance regulations
- Keep vehicle clean and presentable at all times
Requirements
- Valid Category C (Rigid) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a similar distribution/delivery role preferred
- Good knowledge of Irish road network
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
