The team at Keywords Studios handle media localization and translation services for any project size, from indie to AAA games. We help you speak to global audiences by translating your games for your target language and dialect, and ensure expert quality control throughout the game development and translation process through both technology solutions and human oversight.
The LQA Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day execution and operational flow of Localization QA testing activities across multiple languages and projects. The role focuses on test preparation, operational coordination, testing communication, and workflow support to help ensure smooth and efficient test execution and high-quality delivery.
Working closely with the LQA Lead, the LQA Coordinator helps maintain operational alignment between the LQA team, game teams, and stakeholders by ensuring testing readiness, tracking test progress, and facilitating clear communication throughout the testing lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Test Preparation & Coordination

Create and maintain test cases, checklists, testing instructions, and related documentation in line with project guidelines and QA standards.

Coordinate test pass preparation, testing readiness, and day-to-day testing operations across multiple languages and projects.
Testing Communication & Operational Support
-
Coordinate day-to-day communication related to testing schedules, execution, blockers, and testing status across LQA team members.

Send testing-related updates and maintain clear and professional communication with the LQA team, and client/game teams when required to support smooth testing operations.
Bug Vetting & Quality Support

Review, triage, and validate reported bugs for clarity, consistency, and compliance with project and client standards.

Contribute to testing quality by identifying critical issues, escalating risks appropriately, and helping ensure builds meet testing and submission requirements.
Team Support & Collaboration

Contribute to knowledge sharing, and consistency in testing practices across the LQA team.

Collaborate closely with the LQA Lead and the other LQA Coordinators to support efficient testing operations and project goals.
Process Improvement & Reporting

Proactively track and communicate testing progress, operational risks, and project status to the LQA Lead and counterparts during test passes.

Support the LQA Lead identifying inefficiencies in testing workflows and contribute ideas to improve processes, communication practices, and overall operational efficiency.
Requirements

2+ years of experience in LQA or QA fields required.

Excellent office productivity software skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong observational skills, analytical and detail oriented.

Proactive in completing tasks and escalating issues appropriately.
