The Facilities Manager will provide dedicated ownership of facilities, building maintenance, asset care, statutory compliance and site standards at Jameson Distillery Bow Street. The role will ensure the site is safe, compliant, well maintained and presented to a consistently high standard for employees, contractors, visitors and guests. The Facilities Manager will lead a proactive approach to planned preventative maintenance, contractor management, housekeeping governance, infrastructure risk reduction and minor capital works, while supporting operational resilience through cross-training in Duty Manager responsibilities when required.

Planned preventative maintenance: Own and manage the planned preventative maintenance programme, ensuring maintenance activities are scheduled, completed, recorded and reviewed to protect asset reliability and reduce reactive failures.

Building fabric and asset management: Maintain strong oversight of the building fabric, infrastructure, equipment and facilities assets, ensuring issues are identified early, prioritised appropriately and resolved to a high standard.

Housekeeping and site standards: Govern housekeeping, presentation and back-of-house site standards, working with internal teams and service providers to maintain a safe, clean and guest-ready environment.

Contractor and supplier management: Manage facilities contractors and suppliers, including contractor selection, onboarding, induction, performance review, permit-to-work requirements, RAMS review and contractor safety compliance.

Statutory compliance and inspections: Coordinate statutory inspections, servicing, testing and certification across relevant facilities systems, ensuring records are maintained and actions are closed within agreed timelines.

Health, safety and risk management: Track facilities-related health and safety actions, support audits and inspections, contribute to corrective action closure and help maintain strong safety standards for employees, contractors and visitors.

Site infrastructure risk management: Identify infrastructure risks, escalate material concerns and develop practical mitigation plans to reduce operational disruption and protect the guest experience.

Minor capital projects: Scope, coordinate and deliver minor capital and improvement projects, ensuring works are planned safely, delivered within budget and aligned with operational requirements.

Budgeting and planning: Support annual facilities budgeting, forecasting and cost control, including maintenance spend, contractor costs, service agreements and small project expenditure.

Training coordination and records: Coordinate facilities-related training requirements and maintain appropriate records for contractors, service providers and internal colleagues where relevant.

Operational resilience: Undertake Duty Manager responsibilities during periods of leave, absence or peak trading demand once fully trained, supporting business continuity and leadership coverage.
The Facilities Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager, Duty Managers, Health & Safety colleagues, Brand Homes leadership, Finance, Procurement, IT, contractors, service providers and other site stakeholders to ensure facilities activity is coordinated, compliant and aligned with business priorities.

Facilities and maintenance expertise: Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building maintenance, property operations, engineering services or a comparable operational environment, ideally within a high-footfall, customer-facing site.

Planned maintenance and asset care: Strong working knowledge of planned preventative maintenance, asset lifecycle management, building fabric upkeep and the systems required to track, schedule and evidence completed works.

Compliance and safety focus: Practical understanding of statutory inspections, health and safety requirements, risk assessments, RAMS, permit-to-work processes and safe contractor control.

Contractor and supplier management: Ability to manage external contractors and service providers effectively, including onboarding, performance monitoring, issue resolution and ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to the required standard.

Operational judgement: Confident prioritising competing demands in a live visitor-facing environment, balancing safety, guest experience, business continuity, cost and urgency when making decisions.

Planning, organisation and record keeping: Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail, including the ability to maintain accurate compliance records, maintenance schedules, action trackers, purchase records and audit evidence.

Budget and project coordination: Experience supporting facilities budgets, managing supplier costs and coordinating small works or minor capital projects from scoping through to completion.

Communication and stakeholder management: Clear, confident communicator who can build trusted relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and senior stakeholders, and translate technical issues into practical operational updates.

Problem solving and continuous improvement: Proactive, practical problem solver with the ability to identify root causes, reduce repeat issues and move facilities activity from reactive response to planned, preventative management.

Leadership and resilience: Able to provide calm, visible leadership during facilities issues, support team members and contractors, and contribute to operational resilience through flexibility and Duty Manager cover when required.

Planned preventative maintenance activities are completed on time and accurately recorded.

Statutory inspections, service records and compliance actions are maintained and closed within agreed timelines.

Contractors are inducted, documented, supervised and managed in line with site safety requirements.

Facilities issues are prioritised and resolved with minimal impact on guests, employees and operations.

Housekeeping, presentation and back-of-house standards are consistently maintained.

Facilities budgets, contractor costs and minor project spend are managed effectively.

Infrastructure risks are identified early and managed through clear action plans.

The role contributes to a more resilient leadership structure by supporting Duty Manager cover when required.
