Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineering Manager to lead and evolve PlayStation's Enterprise Integration Engineering capability. We deliver reusable, scalable, and loosely coupled integrations that simplify and automate business processes, improving user experience and data quality across the enterprise.
In this role, you will define the technical direction, engineering practices, and delivery strategy for our enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft & SnapLogic), while leading and developing a high-performing team of integration engineers.
You will be accountable for engineering strategy, delivery outcomes, technical quality and operational excellence. Working collaboratively with global engineering teams, engineering leaders & managers, architecture, business stakeholders and PMO, to ensure integration solutions are delivered on time, to a high standard of quality, scalability, reliability, and security.
You will bring a strong technical foundation in integration design and delivery. Actively contribute to integration architecture and design discussions, provide technical leadership, and constructively challenge solutions where needed.
You will mentor and develop engineers, foster a strong engineering team culture, and lead the growth of the Enterprise Integration Engineering capability at PlayStation.
- Define the technical roadmap for the enterprise integration platforms, ensuring they continue to meet current and future business needs.
- Evaluate emerging integration technologies and industry trends, recommending strategic investments where appropriate.
- Lead and guide the design of enterprise integration solutions across MuleSoft and SnapLogic, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reusable, and aligned to enterprise standards
- Review and constructively challenge integration designs, patterns, and technical decisions, providing clear direction to improve quality, resilience, and maintainability
- Drive adoption of modern integration approaches, including API-led, event-driven, pub-sub, asynchronous, and batch/data integration patterns
- Define and promote integration standards, design principles, and reusable patterns across the team
- Be the escalation point for operational and technical issues.
Delivery & Engineering Management
- Own delivery across a portfolio of integration initiatives, ensuring commitments are met to agreed timelines, scope, quality, and business outcomes.
- Determine resource allocation, platform investment, and delivery priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing technical debt and operational risk to achieve business objectives.
- Define and continually improve the engineering operating model, delivery processes, and engineering metrics to increase delivery predictability, platform reliability, and operational excellence.
- Lead the team to solve complex technical and delivery challenges, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved effectively
- Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, resilient, and observable, with appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, and operational support models.
People & Team Leadership
- Line manage a team of integration engineers, including goal setting, performance management, coaching, and career development.
- Develop senior engineers and future technical leaders through coaching, mentoring, and structured career development.
- Drive an inclusive engineering culture focused on accountability, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and organisational planning to build a scalable, high-performing engineering organisation.
- Build strong working relationships across global engineering teams and delivery partners.
What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of hands-on integration design and development experience on MuleSoft and/or SnapLogic
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise integration architecture, patterns, and platform capabilities
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing engineering teams, including senior engineers and technical leads.
- Proven experience reviewing technical design decisions, and providing constructive guidance to improve solution quality.
- Experience working with AWS-hosted integration environments, including messaging services such as SQS and SNS
- Experience with engineering delivery practices and tooling such as GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and Terraform
- Experience integrating enterprise SaaS (e.g. Salesforce, Workday), cloud-hosted COTS (e.g. SAP) and custom in-house developed and hosted applications.
- Ability to balance technical leadership, delivery accountability, and people management responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to engineering teams, senior stakeholders, and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Exposure to emerging integration approaches such as MCP servers and agentic-based integrations is desirable
