Full job description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
11 years of experience in technology, advertising, or online media sales.
Experience leading a sales team, including recruiting, coaching, and retaining talent as well as building and executing business plans.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with successfully owning sales team operations and sales leadership (e.g., portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, execution).
Experience with Google Ads or Search Ads 360, with an understanding of or experience working with third-party ad serving tools.
Experience working with media agencies, ad tech companies, and large media buying/trading companies with an ability to develop and deliver business strategies and relationships sustainable in the short- and long-term.
Ability to develop actionable insights to capture opportunities.
Excellent analytical skills to assess performance.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

In this role, you will lead, coach and support your team closely to proactively maximize media business growth on Search Ads 360 (SA360) to identify new opportunities and grow businesses whilst assisting in the acquisition, growth and maturity against specific growth and product adoption metrics. You and your team will leverage your investigative skills, technical aptitude and digital advertising experience to drive media activation and optimization efforts for advertisers and agencies. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You will help your sales teams and partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to train and motivate a team, and you will take an investigative approach to management.You will be customer and results-focused, but also have the ability to recognize when solutions need to scale.

Responsibilities

Design program roadmap that determines the future of Google Marketing Platform (GMP) within GCS, based on external and internal insights (e.g., changes in industry, competitive or stakeholder strategies), prioritizing strategic initiatives that drive business growth for Google.
Deliver business growth, engagement, and client satisfaction for a portfolio of GCS-managed customers in an assigned market.
Establish clear program key performing indicators/objective key results and own outcomes for the SA360 program, translating market or customer needs into business activations and product strategies to drive execution.
Recruit, coach, and lead the team to ensure sustainable growth, high customer satisfaction, and enhanced portfolio health.
Partner with leaders of other teams to develop thought leadership that equips teams across Media Platforms to drive license business growth and also across GCS to deliver groundbreaking media business business growth.
