Established in 1997, Super Drain is one of Leinster’s leading drainage and environmental contractors.
We are recruiting entry-level General Operatives to train within the drainage industry. Successful candidates will work alongside an experienced Senior Driver Operator as part of a two-person crew on a specialist combi jet-vac tanker.
No previous drainage experience is required. Full on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Assisting with commercial and industrial drainage cleaning
- Operating high-pressure jetting and vacuum equipment under supervision
- Setting up hoses, tools, and equipment
- Cleaning drains, gullies, tanks, grease traps, interceptors, and pipelines
- Completing basic vehicle and equipment checks
- Following all health, safety, and site procedures
- Communicating professionally with clients and the Operations Team
- Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and work areas
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a full, clean Category B driving licence
- Have their own transport to travel to and from our Dublin 12 depot
- Be flexible regarding overtime, early starts, on-call duties, and travel
- Have good written and spoken English
- Be physically fit and comfortable working in drainage and waste-management environments
- Have excellent timekeeping, reliability, and customer-service skills
- Be willing to learn and work as part of a team
Preferred but not essential:
- Safe Pass
- Manual Handling certificate
- Confined Space certificate
- Previous construction, drainage, waste-management, mechanical, or trade experience
- Category C licence and Driver CPC
Training may be provided for suitable candidates.
This is a permanent position following successful completion of the probationary period, with opportunities for further training and career progression.
