Casino Slot Technician

Repairs to Casino Slot Machines

Repairs to Amusement Machines

You will be working On Large Passenger Ferries whilst in Dublin Port ( 4 days week ) & Rosslare Harbor ( 1 day week ) There are six ships in Total

The Role is to Maintain Kids Amusement Machines and Casino Machines .

Responsibilities for Slot Technician

Maintain slot machines & kids Amusement Machines
Maintain Casino Machines
Provide regular inspections of all slot machines and casino games to ensure there has been no tampering or otherwise illegal attempts to alter machines
Oversee preventative maintenance and technical troubleshooting of all gaming machines within the casino
Organize and properly account for all paperwork and certifications pertaining to required maintenance, updates and ordering of parts
Monitor and program machine CPU boards to legal regulation standards for a variety of machines
Move and reinstall slot machines as needed when casino floor plans are revised
Keep detailed records of all machine inventory, required upgrades and parts

To be successful in this role, you have:

Proven experience as a professional Casino Technician, either onboard a cruise line or in a land-based casino.
Strong knowledge of slot machines, gaming equipment, and electronic accounting systems, including installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair.
Experience working with various gaming manufacturers and platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficiency of casino technology.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a focus on delivering superior service.
Prior experience in following and enforcing strict gaming compliance regulations and safety protocols.
Your Essentials
Relevant technical qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Fluency in English (oral and written) to communicate effectively with the Casino team, guests, and regulatory personnel.
In-depth understanding of slot machine mechanics, troubleshooting techniques, and gaming software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment onboard a cruise ship.
A commitment to upholding security standards and responsible gaming practices.

Qualifications for Slot Technician

Technical experience in repairing and ordering parts needed to properly maintain all machines
Ability to accurately provide supervisors with repair assessments Strong customer service background as the employee will likely be interacting with customers when addressing maintenance issues
Technology background preferred in order to troubleshoot common problems with slot machines
Personal accountability and ability to keep detailed records of machine inventory, updates and parts
Prior experience in working in the gaming industry or with slot machines is strongly preferred
Work on Passenger Ferries from Dublin Port & Wexford
You will be Provided a New small company Van
You will be given New tools
We are Based from Our Head Office at City West Co Dublin
Training Can be Provided but a Good Knowledge of electrical engineering & some basic Electronics would be very helpful

Job Type: Full-time with a Trial Period of three- Six months
