The Role
Reporting to the Global Head of Transfer Agency, this role has end-to-end accountability for the Transfer Agency function across the EMEA region.
The Head of EMEA Transfer Agency will act as the senior regional leader, responsible for driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and regulatory oversight across multiple jurisdictions. The role will ensure alignment to global strategy while balancing regional regulatory, client, and operating model requirements. You will hold the PCF-33 Head of Transfer Agency role for Northern Trust International Fund Administration Services (Ireland) Limited (“NTIFASIL”) and be a voting member of the Outsourcing and Operational Resiliency Oversight Committee.
Responsibilities
Set and execute the EMEA Transfer Agency strategy, aligned with global priorities and business objectives.
Provide regional leadership across multiple locations, ensuring consistent service delivery, governance, and control frameworks.
Drive operational excellence, including standardization, efficiency, scalability, and digital transformation initiatives.
Lead regulatory engagement and readiness across EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory requirements.
Partner with global stakeholders to align EMEA priorities with global TA operating model and transformation agenda.
Own and manage the regional budget, ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and delivery of productivity targets.
Support new business growth, client onboarding, and product expansion, balancing capacity, risk, and cost considerations.
Build and lead a high-performing leadership team, ensuring strong succession planning, capability development, and talent retention.
Act as a key stakeholder partner across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations to enhance control and efficiency.
Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, including transformation programs and change initiatives impacting the EMEA region.
Skills and Experience
Senior Transfer Agency executive with deep expertise across multiple EMEA markets and regulatory environments.
Proven track record in leading large-scale, multi-location operations with full P&L or budget accountability.
Strong strategic leadership capability, with the ability to translate global strategy into regional execution.
Demonstrated success in leading through change, including transformation, growth, and regulatory evolution.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior executives and regulators.
Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to build high-performing, diverse teams across geographies.
Commercial mindset with a focus on client outcomes, efficiency, and cost discipline.
Degree-qualified and/or relevant professional experience.
