We are seeking a Warehouse Automation Manager to lead the automation systems team responsible for the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our automated warehouse operations. What You’ll Do for Us

Lead the Warehouse Automation Systems team to ensure safe, reliable support for warehouse and logistics operations.

Maximize system uptime through rapid issue resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Oversee lifecycle management and performance optimization for automation systems, including WMS, SAP EWM, robotics, AGVs, AMRs, SCADA, databases, and server infrastructure.

Deliver automation projects from concept and design through implementation, commissioning, and operational handover.

Partner with cross-functional teams—production, logistics, IT, and engineering—to align systems with operational needs.

Support vendor relationships and manage technology partners to deliver effective, compliant solutions.

Champion continuous improvement, using performance metrics to increase throughput, accuracy, and equipment availability.
What We’re Looking For

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

5+ years’ experience in automation, warehouse systems, or process control within manufacturing or logistics.

Proven leadership in managing automation or technical operations teams.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly for diverse stakeholders.

System Integration & Architecture: Direct ownership of end-to-end integration flows across SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, third-party WMS, middleware, and field-level control systems.

Interface & Data Protocols: Practical hands-on expertise with SAP IDocs, RESTful/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML data mapping, MSSQL, and message brokers/queuing architectures.

Tier-3 Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Advanced diagnostics and rapid RCA across application layers, database connections, communication pipelines, and PLC/SCADA interfaces to guarantee 24/7 facility uptime.

IP Networking & Infrastructure: Strong grasp of TCP/IP networking, subnetting, VLANs, routing, DNS/DHCP, firewall rules, and host-to-host connectivity across OT-IT boundaries.
High-Impact Technical Capabilities

SCADA Platform Engineering: Practical configuration and development with Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA (Python scripting, SQL bindings, transaction groups, AD integration).

Operating Systems & Environments: System administration and service management in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and virtualized server environments.

Robotics & Fleet Integration: Practical experience managing interface protocols, mission dispatching, and traffic orchestration for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and AGVs.

Scripting & Data Automation: Building automated monitoring, alerting, and data extraction pipelines using Python and complex SQL queries.
Advantageous Operational & Tooling Competencies
- Industrial Fieldbus Standards: Working familiarity with OT communication standards (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, OPC UA).

Data Visualization & Analytics: Experience developing operational performance dashboards and trend visualizations (e.g., Ignition Vision/Perspective, Power BI, or Python-based tooling).

Commissioning & Validation: Background in executing Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and structured engineering change-management workflows.
