Role Description:
The Country Information Security Officer role is aligned to the Bank of America Europe DAC legal entity and will be based in Dublin, reporting into the Reginal Information Security Officer (RISO).
In this role you will act as the primary contact providing advisory and oversight on information security topics, policies, and controls. This will ensure a focus on the risk priorities relating to information security.
To achieve this, you will leverage the wider regional and global information security functions as needed.
Responsibilities:

You will Provide advisory and oversight on information security as appointed country/entity lead. You will be collaborating with regional and global Information Security functions to prevent, detect, mitigate and respond/recover to information security issues

You will be working with the regional and global Information Security teams to ensure that Information Security requirements and ambition are communicated, discussed and tracked in an effective, consistent and timely way to senior management across BofA Europe DAC / EU management team

You will be working in collaboration with the Risk and Compliance teams, supporting them in their activities and helping them continue to develop processes and solutions

You will be partnering closely with technology groups and the wider GIS teams to remediate Information Security issues in a timely manner to reduce vulnerability

You will have a proven ability to drive security awareness activities in the country based on the risk and threat landscape

This role will monitor information security trends internal and external to the bank and keep leadership informed about information security-related issues and activities affecting the organisation
What we are looking for:
- Information Security & Technology experienced professional with extensive experience within Global information Security
-
Subject matter expertise in information security; including topics such as application security, vulnerability testing and development with experience in understanding and evaluating cyber security controls

Extensive risk management experience with a proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to challenging business situations

Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills
-
Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills

Ability to be comfortable delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding

Exceptional leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
Skills that will help:

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field

Relevant information security certifications (CISSP, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security +) would be an advantage
