Role Summary
This role is driven by customer-specific projects and involves a wide range of responsibilities across the automation lifecycle. The Project Engineer will work with technologies such as PLC, DCS, SCADA, MES, and historian software, contributing to both design and implementation phases. The position requires close collaboration with project teams to deliver high-quality, compliant automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Design & Development:
- Leading Design and develop control system software for PLCs, DCS, SCADA, MES and historian platforms.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation to support system architecture and functionality.
- Hardware Design & Testing:
- Design electrical control panels and oversee their testing to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Project Execution & Validation:
- Lead and Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing to validate system performance prior to deployment.
- Lead site commissioning activities for both hardware and software components.
- Perform Site Acceptance Testing to confirm system functionality in the live environment.
- On site commissioning
Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in industrial automation and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS programming and SCADA configuration.
- Familiarity with validation protocols and quality standards in regulated industries.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related field).
A Project Engineer will typically work in a project team of 2 – 20 and will be expected to work closely with the project manager and lead engineer. Site location can vairy, currently are in Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, UK, Spain, Nordic’s and more across the EU.

Pay: €60,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
