Full job description

This is a strategic creative role, not a solo content production position. We are looking for a Marketing, Client Acquisition & Retention Manager who can own the full marketing function. Setting direction, briefing and managing external freelancers and agencies, executing paid digital campaigns, and using data to drive both new client acquisition and long-term retention. You will work closely with the Founder and Clinical Director to ensure all content and campaigns reflect the Platinum brand at its best.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Brand Direction

– Own and execute the marketing strategy across all channels, aligned to business growth targets

– Maintain and evolve the Platinum brand voice, visual identity, and content standards

– Brief, manage, and quality-control external content creators, graphic designers, and videographers

– Develop and maintain a content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, email, and TikTok

Paid Digital Advertising

– Plan, build, manage, and optimise Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ad campaigns for lead generation and membership growth

– Manage Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, and Performance Max

– Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and report on ROI clearly and regularly

– A/B test creative, copy, and audience segments to improve conversion rates continuously

Client Acquisition & Retention

– Design and execute lead generation campaigns that convert prospects into trial clients

– Develop and manage email marketing flows for new client onboarding, re-engagement, and retention

– Collaborate with Front of House on lead pipeline management and conversion optimisation

– Build retention initiatives — loyalty programmes, milestone campaigns, client communications - that reduce churn

Content & Creative

– Produce and co-create content using Canva and other tools to brief standard where freelancers aren't engaged

– Brief reels, carousels, stories, and email content that communicates clinical authority and brand warmth

– Coordinate photo and video shoots with external creatives, ensuring on-brand output every time

– Write or edit copy across campaigns, email, ads, and social — with a strong understanding of wellness and fitness marketing language

AI & Technology Integration

– Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and other platforms) to accelerate content production, campaign research, and copywriting workflows

– Stay current on emerging AI and automation tools relevant to marketing in the health and fitness sector

– Support integration of marketing automation across studio management platforms and CRM system.

What We're Looking For

– Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a digital marketing role, ideally within wellness, fitness, health, or premium consumer brands

– Proven track record running and optimising Meta and Google Ads campaigns with measurable results

– Strong working knowledge of Canva, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and email marketing platforms

– Comfortable using AI tools as a genuine productivity resource — not just theoretically

– Understanding of fitness and wellness marketing: what resonates, what doesn't, and why

– Ability to manage freelancers and hold creative output to a high standard

– Data-literate: comfortable reading performance reports and making decisions from them

– Excellent written communication skills — you can write compelling copy and know when to brief someone else to

– Self-directed, proactive, and capable of managing your own workload without micromanagement
