The Senior Business Analyst supports the delivery of transformation projects by conducting structured analysis, documenting and redesigning business processes, gathering stakeholder requirements, and developing business cases and functional specifications. This role is the analytical engine of the TO, working closely with staff across all functions to understand how DBS currently operates and how it can operate better in the future.

Lead business analysis activities on assigned projects, requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and option appraisal;

Document current-state and target-state business processes to a high standard;

Develop business cases, functional specifications and user acceptance test plans;

Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews across all DBS departments;

Support the development of the policy and process architecture framework;

Contribute to the data governance framework — particularly process-level data requirements;

Assist the Transformation Lead with programme portfolio administration and project reporting;

Support training and change management activities where process changes are implemented.

Minimum three to five years of experience in a business analysis, process improvement or operational excellence role;

Exposure and experience to process optimisation / Lean / Six Sigma;

Experience in leading Projects and Change Requests end-to-end;

Strong Change Management experience;

Strong process mapping skills; proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart or equivalent;

Ability to conduct structured stakeholder interviews and facilitate productive workshops;

Clear written and verbal communication skills and able to translate complex processes into accessible documentation;

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving;

Experience in financial and administrative process environments;

Experience of Business Central, Salesforce or similar ERP, CRM, etc. systems;

Relevant qualification in information systems or related fields;

Experience in the education and finance sectors is desirable;

Strong stakeholder management;

Understanding of emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and tools, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, insights, decision-making and business performance.
