At BYOUR, we are managing a retained search for a top-tier, long-established Irish building materials manufacturer (35+ years in business).
They are looking for a Field Sales Rep to own the Leinster territory. This is a 100% face-to-face field role. You will be out on the road daily visiting construction sites, meeting contractors, and driving sales through builders' merchants and trade counters. No desk work—pure execution on the ground.
The Package
- Base Salary: €50,000 (highly negotiable depending on experience and network)
- Bonus: €5,000 Loyalty Capital Bonus (milestone-based for territory health, not stressful weekly targets)
- Tools: High-spec Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Phone & Laptop
Who We Are Looking For (Strict Criteria)
Note: You must have a background in construction or trade. General or software sales profiles will not be considered.
We want to hear from you if you fit either profile:
- The Construction Sales Rep: You currently sell materials, tools, insulation, roofing, or fixings to sites and merchants (like Chadwicks, Topline, TJ O'Mahony).
- The Hands-On Trade Pro: You are a qualified roofer, carpenter, foreman, or maintenance engineer who knows how sites run and wants to move into a professional field sales career.
Core Duties
- Own and grow the Leinster sales territory.
- Visit active building sites face-to-face to get products specified.
- Build tight relationships with regional builders' merchants and trade counters.
- Manage your own daily travel routes and sales pipeline.
Requirements
- Must have a full, clean Irish/EU Driver’s License.
- Must have a construction, trade, or building materials background (sales or hands-on).
- Strong communication skills—you must be comfortable talking to site foremen and merchant buyers alike.
Pay: Up to €55,000.00 per year
