The Cloud Data Technologies (CDT) organization builds and operates the core data infrastructure that powers eBay's global marketplace — from real-time product experiences to experimentation, analytics, and cloud storage at scale.
Within CDT, the Distributed Databases team develops and operates highly available, fault-tolerant database and storage systems that support eBay's large-scale transactional and analytical workloads. These systems are designed to solve complex challenges around replication, partitioning, consistency, resilience, and performance across distributed environments.
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and evolution of distributed database technologies that underpin eBay's data ecosystem. You will work on large-scale infrastructure challenges, collaborate with experienced distributed systems engineers, and gain exposure to the design and operation of critical production systems serving millions of users worldwide.
