The Cloud Data Technologies (CDT) organization builds and operates the core data infrastructure that powers eBay's global marketplace — from real-time product experiences to experimentation, analytics, and cloud storage at scale.
Within CDT, the Data Platforms team develops and operates the systems that enable large-scale data processing, experimentation, and analytics across eBay. These platforms support how data is ingested, processed, stored, and made available to engineering, product, and business teams globally.
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will contribute to building scalable backend and distributed systems that support innovation across eBay's marketplace. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop platform capabilities that improve reliability, performance, and scalability while gaining hands-on experience operating systems at global scale.
You will report to an Engineering Manager within CDT and collaborate closely with software engineers, platform teams, product partners, and data stakeholders in an environment that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning.
